During the forum, Mr. Hassan Mohammed Abdul Latif Jameel, President of Community Jameel Domestic received an award on behalf of Community Jameel from HRH Meshaal Bin Majid Bin Abdulaziz, for its efforts in the social responsibility space.

The two-day event hosted experts to discuss six main areas, which include the role of the Integrated Development Center in developing Makkah Al Mukarramah region, the investment environment in the Jeddah Province, and the opportunities and challenges of self-employment, as well as the limitations and effects of direct foreign investment on the Saudi market and its future impact. One of the sessions also saw Community Jameel showcasing its initiatives, under the title “Motivators of the Investment Environment in the Jeddah Province,” which focused on the administrative and legislative procedures, and facilitators dedicated to enhancing and improving the investment environment in Saudi Arabia, and Jeddah in particular.

Mr. Hassan Mohammed Abdul Latif Jameel commented on Community Jameel’s participation saying, “Community Jameel’s participation in the forum reflects its commitment to support initiatives that are organized by different national organizations in Saudi Arabia. An event like the Jeddah Commercial Forum is in line with Community Jameel’s goals and gives us an opportunity to be part of important discussions related to the Saudi economy.”
