Bab Rizq Jameel Company Organizes the Second Edition of the Virtual Employment Fair - 1

In line with Bab Rizq Jameel’s mission of empowering members of society and providing them with suitable job opportunities, the company announced the launch of the 2nd edition of BRJ’s Virtual Jobs Fair. Bab Rizq Jameel, a subsidiary of Community Jameel Saudi Foundation, will organize the event between July 14-18, 2024, to further solidify the impact that was achieved by the first edition that was launched last December, which attracted over 41,000 job seekers, 72 employers, and offered more than 777 job vacancies. The 2nd Virtual Jobs Fair goal is to connect employers searching for qualified talents with job seekers in various sectors and regions.

The exhibition will be held online using virtual reality. This utilization of advanced tools will expand the fair’s reach to a wider range of candidates, facilitate seamless communication, and eliminate physical and logistical hurdles associated with traditional interviews. It will provide several solutions to connect employers with job seekers, including dedicated virtual booths for each employer, live-video interviews, a database of applicant CVs, and a mobile-friendly version of the platform.

The five-day exhibition agenda includes a daily open job fair from 9 am to 5 pm, facilitating direct meetings between employers and job seekers for potential interviews. The event will also offer a series of courses and professional development workshops, similar to the first edition, which benefited over 4,600 participants. These workshops will cover various topics that will help individuals develop their professional and personal skills, such as interview preparation, communication skills, and CV writing.

“By launching the second edition of the exhibition, we aim to capitalize on the success of the first event and expand access for both businesses and job seekers,” stated Dr. May Taibah, Director of Bab Rizq Jameel. She also added: “Through this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to contributing to the social and economic development of the Kingdom, as well as our dedication to keeping pace with the digital transformation and deploying advanced technologies.”

It is important to note that the Virtual Jobs Fair aligns with the comprehensive economic development goals set out in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, such reducing unemployment rates to 7%, increasing the localization of highly skilled jobs, and boosting citizen participation in entrepreneurial and freelance ventures.
