Bab Rizq Jameel Organizes the Third Edition of the Virtual Employment Fair
- Competency Development
In its efforts to empower Saudi youth and provide sustainable employment opportunities, Bab Rizq Jameel is pleased to organize the 3rd edition of the Virtual Job Fair, which will be held from November 24 to 28, 2024. This event builds on the great successes achieved in previous editions and aims to strengthen the recruitment channels between employers and job seekers.
In the fair’s last edition, the event attracted 83,000 visitors and witnessed the participation of 104 employers from various sectors, who offered more than 4,842 job vacancies. The third edition of the Virtual Job Fair aims to provide wider opportunities for Saudi youth by linking them with employers in the labor market who offer training that ends with employment. This will support the country’s strive towards achieving Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to reduce unemployment rates and increase jobs’ localization.
The upcoming fair will be held online using advanced virtual reality technologies, allowing employers to communicate directly and effectively with job seekers. Through this technology, employers can create virtual booths, conduct instant video interviews, and benefit from a database of candidate resumes. This flexible and innovative approach allows participants to visit the fair from anywhere and at any time, facilitating the job search process and enhancing employers’ access to a larger pool of talent.
The fair’s activities will extend over five days, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing job seekers the opportunity to communicate directly with participating employers. In addition, the fair will feature several workshops aimed at developing professional and personal skills, such as preparing for interviews and writing professional resumes.
As a part of the fair’s distinctive activities in this edition, the fair will include a section dedicated to tech jobs, under the umbrella of the “Digital Talents Network” initiative led by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, which aims to empower local startups in the digital economy and support Saudi aspiring tech talents.
Commenting on the organization of the third fair, Dr. May Taibah, Deputy Managing Director of Bab Rizq Jameel, said: “At Bab Rizq Jameel, we believe that innovation is the key to success in providing job opportunities. The third edition of the virtual employment fair continues the success we achieved in previous editions. We are committed to harnessing the latest digital technologies to provide a platform that -efficiently- connects young talents with employers who need the right skills and competencies. Through this fair, we reaffirm our role in empowering Saudi youth to become integral contributors to national economic development.”
